Our club competes from September through April. On the second Tuesday of the month, we have print competitions. Prints are mounted and placed in one of three competition areas: Color, Monochrome, and Small Prints. On the fourth Tuesday of the month our competitions are uploaded online (deadline is midnight of the Sunday before), and then projected on a screen at the meeting. Images are placed in one of three competition areas: Open, Nature, and Themed.

Are you just starting out as a photographer and afraid to compete? Don’t worry. We also offer a special Novice category for those who are new to photography and want to start learning the ins and outs of competing. Check out this information.

For an abbreviated set of rules, click here. This will give you a quick overview of what is expected, points that can be earned, and general rules about each competition area. You can find a quick tutorial about how to mount images here. All entered prints must have a label affixed to the upper left-hand corner of the back of the printed image. You can find those labels here. Mac users should use select "Actual Size", not "Fit to Size,” and then print on Avery labels #5263. Mac labels can be found here.

Projection Competitions are run through PhotocontestPro. Images should be uploaded using the instructions found here.
