How do I join?

You can pay online using the link below or attend a meeting and let the treasurer know you would like to join. Membership is intended for local residents of the greater Dayton and Cincinnati areas. Click here to join.

When do you meet?

We meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from September through May. Meetings start at 7:30pm. We also have special workshops on the fourth Tuesday of each month that start at 6:30. Check out the calendar for those dates and topics. If you are a member and plan to enter prints for competition, please arrive at least 15 min. early in order to enter your photographs.


How much are dues?

The dues are $35 for a single and $50 for a couple. This allows you to compete and attend many member-only workshops all year. Click here for more information and paying dues.


What are the competition categories?

There are three print categories - Color, Monochrome, and Small Prints. There are also three digital projection categories - Open (any subject), Nature, and Themed. See the rules for more details. Check out our competition rules here.


Do you have programs or workshops?

There is an educational program at every meeting. Plus, the club offers an additional instructional program on the second meeting of each month. During the year there are also several member-only workshops on various topics from how to take better photographs to Photoshop techniques. How do I upload images for the digital projection competition?

The instructions for creating and uploading images can be found here. We use PhotoContest Pro to host our projection competitions.


Where can I find the labels for the back of the prints I submit for competition?

The labels need to be printed on Avery Labels 5263. The labels can be found here. Mac users can use this link. Mac users should use select "Actual Size", not "Fit to Size,” and then print on Avery labels #5263.
