You will have an opportunity to photograph Cincinnati’s 100+ year old water works facility. The tour will include the pump house, the engine house, which is the boiler house that supplied steam to the engines and the pump pit floor where you will stand among the four engines as they rest on 20-foot-thick wood caisson, six feet under the floor of the Ohio River. The great pump chamber moved a staggering 30,000,000 gallons of water every day for 57 years. Attendance is limited to 20 people so please send your request to daytontripodcamera@gmail.com The event is free but a donation is encouraged to help support the foundation.
